Le pays de la Déodatie a placé le tourisme au coeur de sa stratégie de développement économique, avec la transition énergétique et la filière bois. Les assises permanentes du tourisme, réunies depuis 6 ans régulièrement et dont l'idée a été reprise au niveau national lors des Assises nationales du Tourisme, ont permis un travail collaboratif avec les collectivités locales, les offices de tourisme, les professionnels de l'accueil, hébergement, restauration, les spécialistes des services/activités.
De ce travail a émergé la labellisation "bistrot de pays" (seul territoire dans le grand Est de la France, en core à ce jour, à avoir obtenu cette labellisationde qualité pour des établissements de restauration proposant à la fois des produits locaux, des informations touristiques et des animations).
Deuxième étape de cette stratégie, la création d'un GR de pays (sentier de Grande Randonnée) qui a été labellisé à l'automne par la Fédération Française de Randonnée Pédestre et balisé cet hiver jusqu'à ce printemps, par les bénévoles du Club Vosgien. Grâce au soutien financier du Conseil Général et des fonds Européens - on ne rappelle jamais assez l'aide financière de l'Europe aux territoires ruraux - ce projet porté par le pays de la Déodatie a trouvé sa concrétisation ce dimanche avec l'inauguration à Vexaincourt du GR en présence notamment des présidents régionaux du Club Vosgien et de la Fédération de Randonnée Pédestre. J'ai été heureux de saluer le travail des agents du pays de la Déodatie qui ont mené à bien ce lourd dossier, de Christophe Lerouge à Maude Dabry, et de souligner que le massif vosgien n'avait pas vu de nouveau GR labellisé depuis... 60 ans!
Le développement touristique de notre territoire s'appuiera enfin sur le topoguide de randonnée pédestre "sous la ligne bleue des Vosges" que nous éditerons cet été autour de ce GR, du tour de la Vologne (en partenariat avec la communauté de communes de Bruyères) et de nombreux sentiers créés et entretenus par le Club Vosgien. Il sera vendu dans toute la France et valorisera nos hébergeurs et restaurateurs.
