Le récent rapport du GIEC a montré les conséquences catastrophiques d'un dépassement des 1,5 degrés de hausse moyenne des températures. Ce sujet devrait être la priorité numéro un des gouvernements car il en va de la survie des espèces dont la nôtre. Le Gouvernement français va dévoiler prochainement ses propositions à travers une Programmation Pluriannuelle de l'Energie. Notre responsabilité collective est donc grande.
Les questions connexes dans le choix des énergies de demain sont :
1) l'indépendance énergétique : aujourd'hui la France importe la quasi totalité de ses hydrocarbures, mais également l'uranium et ses combustibles nucléaires. Les approvisionnement viennent souvent de pays peu stables, ce qui fragilise notre indépendance.
2) les déchets et le caractère renouvelable : exploiter des ressources terrestres pour les épuiser, laisser des déchets aux générations futures n'est pas saisfaisant. Avec le vent, le soleil, la mer et le bois, les sources d'énergies se renouvellent
3) les conditions économiques : aujourd'hui solaire et éolien, y compris éolien offshore, vendent leur production sur le marché de l'énergie sans subvention publique; l'éolien, y compris offshore est moins cher que les nouvelles capacités de production d'électricité, y compris nucléaire comme le montre le marché du Royaume Uni. Par ailleurs, l'éolien crée des filières industrielles en Europe et donc en France. L'Observatoire des Energies de la Mer a montré que l'éolien en mer a déjà créé plus de 2500 emplois en France (www.merenergies.fr)
